Old world rustic charm has always been near and dear to my heart. Esther Asbury is with us today sharing this lovely rustic Christmas card in beautiful shades of blues and brown. Though non-traditional colors for Christmas, they are just gorgeous on her card.
Esther used both stamp sets and the die set featured this week as our Product of the Week at 20% OFF. It's a wonderful pairing of products that offers options and fun galore for the holiday and winter seasons. Be sure to read all the sale details at the end of this post.
Designed as a Christmas card, with a simple swap of sentiment this lovely card would be perfect for use all winter long!
Note that Esther stamped the tree throughout the card, but she used the die for that tree in a totally independent fashion, NOT cutting the stamped trees but rather cutting the tree opening within the card, placing designer paper beneath, then cutting another tree from coordinating designer paper and placing it atop the opening/askew.
I absolutely LOVE this look and her creative use of a coordinating stamp and die!
O Christmas Tree (stamped and die cut trees)
Wonder of Christmas Sentiments (sentiment)
Darling Deer (die to cut deer)
Small stars were die cut - any small star dies will work!
All of the designer paper Esther used is digital that she printed.
Thank you so much, Esther, for this most interesting and lovely Christmas card filled with that nostalgic and old world rustic charm!
