Lavender Blessings

I love it when one stamp image can do double duty - a simple transformation of the originally intended image into another with a simple change of ink colors. And to make it even better, when you are able to use just one stamp set for the entire card, that is total BONUS!

And just a reminder that our birds and branches set - God Will Take Care of You - remains at 20% OFF through TODAY ONLY! Check out the details at the end of this post.

These beautiful bundles of lavender were actually created as bundles of wheat in an autumn themed set; however, we soon realized that when stamped with the appropriate colors they instantly became beautiful bundles of lavender. WIN/WIN!!

I love how the bundles are placed on the smaller squares with the overhang at the bottom - a very attractive feature!

Watercolor Cardstock

To create the lavender Deb used Distress Oxide Inks and stamped in a rock-n-roll fashion to get the color variation.

Autumn Blessings

Good Monday morning to all! Today we are here with a fun fall card from Karen Letchworth in a cleaner vintage style, while still incorporating some of Karen's favorite vintage accents. She was using up a variety of paper scraps (a great idea) and added some of her machine stitching and ribbon bits as well.

The image and sentiment are from one of the sets featured this week as our Product of the Week. Remember, our Product of the Week runs each week from Sunday through Saturday, so it's always good to check it out to see what you can grab at a great sale price!

Isn't this fun - loving the softer fall colors Karen used here.

Welcome Fall & Autumn Blessings - NEW Product of the Week

Good Sunday morning to all! Where we live here in the northwoods of Michigan, up on the shores of Lake Superior, fall is most definitely in the air. We have beautiful days but very crisp and cool nights and that autumn feel just permeates the air. Always such a lovely time of year!

Thus, it is only fitting that our featured products this week are our Welcome Fall & Autumn Blessings stamp/die sets. They will be featured at 20% OFF through next Saturday.

Welcome Fall features a lovely, smaller scaled pumpkin with beautifully scripted sentiments and scripture focusing on welcoming in the fall season and being thankful and grateful.

Autumn Blessings features 2 sheafs of wheat with sentiments and scripture focusing on God's goodness, forgiveness and blessings. And if you want to get creative, use purple ink on the shorter sheaf of wheat and you instantly have a bunch of lavender!

The images in these 2 sets meld together beautifully for your fall themes.

Taste and See ...

... that the Lord is good.

Blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.

Psalm 34:8

Often times a lovely and meaningful verse from scripture is all you need to make the card absolutely perfect. Not a lot of fru-fru or fanfare, just beautiful words, spoken from heart. Deb Saaranen had that in mind when she created her card that we are sharing today. One of the beatitudes takes center stage, adorned by a simple and complementary die cut image.

And note that today is the LAST DAY of this week's Product of the Week at 25% OFF. Scroll to the end of this post to check out the details.

So simply stunning and impactful.
