Patriotic Pocket Card

We have another fun card in a patriotic theme filled with lots of goodies - so fun to pull out and inspect each one! Today's project is from Esther Asbury and it's a very simple pocket card, with a pocket on each side to fill up. She combined a variety of our patriotic sets, all made to work together so well, as you can see with today's project. Super fun both to make and to receive!

This project bears a lovely vintage feel that goes so well with a patriotic or Americana theme.

To create the pocket Esther cut her cardstock to 4.75" wide x 8.5" long, scored at 3" to fold up, which creates the pocket on the front.

All designer papers are digital papers that Esther printed.

Flip the card over and we have another pocket.

This pocket was created by framing the stamped collage and attaching it to serve as a pocket.

Poppy Folio with Bookmark

Making little folios seems to be all the rage these days and we are just thrilled with the version that Karen Letchworth is sharing with us today featuring our lovely poppies. She created a scripture bookmark to tuck inside, turning this little card into a beautiful gift!

Birdsong

The older I get the more I enjoy watching birds out the kitchen window or sitting on my porch. Their presence offers a simple kind of relaxation that I so enjoy. The Bible has so many references to birds and how God takes care of them and us, with some of my favorite verses being contained in this set. Deb Saaranen made the gorgeous card we are sharing today using no sentiments at all, just the lovely birdsong that you can almost hear! It's a simple make, flat for mailing and as lovely as can be!
