Birdsong

The older I get the more I enjoy watching birds out the kitchen window or sitting on my porch. Their presence offers a simple kind of relaxation that I so enjoy. The Bible has so many references to birds and how God takes care of them and us, with some of my favorite verses being contained in this set. Deb Saaranen made the gorgeous card we are sharing today using no sentiments at all, just the lovely birdsong that you can almost hear! It's a simple make, flat for mailing and as lovely as can be!

Framed Edmund Fitzgerald

Good morning once again. How special it is when someone asks us to create a specific piece just for them. The home decor piece we share today was created by Karen Letchworth at the request of her brother, wanting a keepsake to remember the Edmund Fitzgerald. Growing up in Duluth, MN, this ship has special meaning and memories, as it does for so many. I am sure he was just thrilled with Karen's final result, and I know you will be, too!

Karen purchased a small square wooden frame and set out to create the interior artwork as well as the surrounding landscape to create a stunning little vignette.

It was easily done with the right stamps, dies and supplies at hand.
