Card Sample

Did you know that today (the Friday before Memorial Day) is National Poppy Day? Sponsored by the American Legion, today is the day Americans wear red poppies to honor fallen military members and support living veterans and their families. With that in mind, Deb Felts created this stunning patriotic coffee card featuring poppies. Truly beautiful!

There is so much symbolism here - coffee for our hop today, poppies for both fallen and living veterans on this National Poppy Day, a gold star for the Gold Star Families, stars and stripes for our grand old flag and the banner with the statement that We Will Never Forget.

That's a whole lot of punch packed into one fabulous card!

Patriotic Pocket Card

We have another fun card in a patriotic theme filled with lots of goodies - so fun to pull out and inspect each one! Today's project is from Esther Asbury and it's a very simple pocket card, with a pocket on each side to fill up. She combined a variety of our patriotic sets, all made to work together so well, as you can see with today's project. Super fun both to make and to receive!

The sets that are featured this week as our Product of the Week are both included on Esther's project. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to get all the details!

This project bears a lovely vintage feel that goes so well with a patriotic or Americana theme.

To create the pocket Esther cut her cardstock to 4.75" wide x 8.5" long, scored at 3" to fold up, which creates the pocket on the front.

All designer papers are digital papers that Esther printed.

This pocket was created by framing the stamped collage and attaching it to serve as a pocket.

Poppy Folio with Bookmark

Making little folios seems to be all the rage these days and we are just thrilled with the version that Karen Letchworth is sharing with us today featuring our lovely poppies. She created a scripture bookmark to tuck inside, turning this little card into a beautiful gift!
