Good morning! Esther Asbury is here today sharing this super fun patriotic card in a fun fold called a double flap (directions after all photos) that is all belly banded as well. America's Big 250th Birthday celebration is soon upon us and fun projects like these will be appreciated by many during this highly patriotic season!

WOW! There's a lot going on here and a lot to look at, so let's get going!
This card has a belly band to hold it all closed, which is always such a fun design option.

Here the belly band is slipping off.
So fun for the recipient to open - like a little treasure!

Here Esther is showing us how to cut/score the card front. In her own words:
I started with a kraft A2 card base measuring 4.25" x 5.5" and I cut two kraft card stock strips to measure 2.25" x 5.5" and 1.75" x 5.5" Score the wider one at 1.75" and the narrower one at 1.25".
Cut 1/8 of an inch off the front of your card so that once you attach the flaps it will lay flat. Glue the widest flap to the front of the card and the narrowest to the inside of the card.
