Good morning to all! Deb Felts is here today sharing a gorgeous and nostalgic feeling card for her valentine. I love the look of more traditional and old-fashioned type of valentines, and Deb captured that feel in her card today. It's a fun make and not nearly as involved or complicated as one might think on quick glance. She used just 1 stamp set, designer papers from 2 pads along with various scraps and some fun die cut pieces. Take a look:
So very pretty and reminiscent of times gone by - love that!
Farmhouse Simple Sentiments (sentiments on front and inside)
A Man of Knowledge (die cut keys)
Farmhouse Pierced Nested Hearts (die cut heart)
Postale Dies (die cut envelope and numbers)
Paper pads used:
Luxury Pearlescent Cardstock - Silver
Button and tulle from stash
Cheesecloth or Sheer Glitter Dots would work as well
Deb used the numbers on the die cut envelope to mimic a zip code - it is actually their marriage year - a fun touch!
And I love how she cut the little heart panels from the paper pad to mimic stamps.
Old fashioned keys - oh, how they speak to me!
Such a beautiful touch!
And the inside, beautifully finished off to complement the front.
