Nautical Themed Mini Slimline

Hello to all! Esther Asbury is here today sharing a fabulous little project jam packed with fun treats once you open it. It's a mini slimline card in a nautical theme that she made as a masculine birthday card. I love a good nautical theme, and I know a lot of women do, too, so don't limit your thinking! There is a lot of goodness packed into this small project, so let's get going!

This is another project that got me at hello - totally enamored here!

This small card started with a 6 x 6" sheet of designer paper folded in 1/2, giving you the 3 x 6" card base. It contains two pockets - one on the front and one on the inside, both holding tags to pull out.

He is the Light (colored lighthouse)

The Mackinac Bridge (best wishes)

This is the pull-out tag in the front pocket.

These smaller background stamps were created as a more user-friendly alternative to the typical large background stamps. Set 1 has some irregular edges and parts of words missing to resemeble torn and tattered text or pages, while Set 2 contains full and clearly printed sentiments.

God's Amazing Grace

Good Monday morning. Another fresh new week as we share a lovely card from Karen Letchworth sharing a verse about God's amazing grace, and oh how sweet that is! She paired her scripture verse with some lush yellow lemons and paper that complements the design so well. Deb Saaranen created the card we are sharing today as a card of encouragement for someone going through some health battles. It's a simple and lovely card and I find it of interest that she found this scripture verse in one of our Christmas sets. It just goes to show, don't file those holiday sets away as so many of them we create do contain scripture verses and generic sentiments that work well for year round use.
