Autumn

Good Friday morning on what will hopefully be a lovely fall weekend. Deb Saaranen shares a card today that is vibrant with fall colors and absolutely stunning. She used a simple layout, allowing both the image and sentiment to truly POP on the card front. Some subtle background stenciling adds both texture and interest to this lovely card suitable for either gender - always a bonus!

Masculine Paper Bag Birthday Card

I think we are all familiar with paper bag albums, but I don't believe I have ever seen a paper bag card before. But just how genius is that! Use the paper bag as your base, folded/scored down the center. You would even have the back side of the card/bag available to tuck something in if you wanted. I absolutely love this idea and can't wait to give it a try myself. And truthfully, I think the guys would get a kick out of it as opposed to a traditional card made from cardstock.
